The Fellowes® AeraMax™ DX55 Air Purifier Replacement Carbon Filter removes odours and captures large airborne particulates. The Sanitized® layer effectively reduces the development of bacteria, fungi and dust mites on carbon filter. Filter is compatible with the Fellowes® AeraMax™ DX55 Air Purifier. Replace the Carbon Filter approximately every 3 months in order to ensure that the Air Purifier remains effective. The Filter – based purification traps airborne particles by size exclusion. Air is forced through a filter and particles are physically captured by the filter. Air purifiers are used to reduce the concentration of these airborne contaminants and are useful for people who suffer from allergies and asthma.
